This Petri culture dish contained a phenylethyl alcohol (PEA) selective growth medium, which was inoculated with Escherichia coli, Fusobacterium mortiferum, Proteus vulgaris, and Clostridium perfringens, and subsequently, after an incubation period of 48 hours, produced these bacterial colonies.
