The back of this patient displayed numerous erythematous patches dispersed over the entirety of his back that was diagnosed as a case of psoriasis, an erythematous skin condition characterized by irregular red patches covered by a dry scaly hyperkeratotic stratum corneum. Psoriasis usually occur on the elbows and knees, as well as scalp and lower back, but can occur anywhere on the body.
