This image was produced, by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 1997, and was entitled, AIDS-Indicator Conditions in Adults and Adolescents with AIDS, Reported in 1996, United States. This slide lists the most frequently reported conditions associated with AIDS, with severe HIV-related immunosuppression, far and away, leading all other conditions with 59,284, while Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia far behind in second place with 11,361.
