Under the low magnification, this photomicrograph of a skin tissue biopsy specimen, revealed histopathologic changes indicative of Kaposi's sarcoma (KS). As is the case here, cytoarchitectural changes found in Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) can include a normally appearing epidermis, but a dermal layer, which contains a cellular infiltrate, and accompanying vascular proliferation.
