Caption:
This 1969 image depicts two men in the jungles of Belize, formerly British Honduras, who had set a Japanese mist net in order to capture some of the local representative birds, and were in the process of extricating two small birds from the net. The man on the left was a local inhabitant, who was very familiar with the terrain, and the man on the right was mammologist and ornithologist Rexford "Rex" D. Lord, PhD, MS.
