As a closer view of PHIL 12421, this photograph depicts the colonial morphology displayed by Gram-negative, Burkholderia thailandensis bacteria, which was grown on a medium of Pseudomonas cepacia (PC) agar, for a 24-hour time period, at a temperature of 37°C. Note that 12407, depicts a view of B. thailandensis colonies grown on this same medium, and at the same temperature, but for 48hrs, which is twice the time period, and PHIL 12416, depicts this bacterial species, grown on PC agar, at a greater temperature, and also, for twice the time period.
