This photograph depicted a slant culture that was growing Coccidioides immitis fungal organisms, on a medium of glucose Phytone^TM, yeast extract, while contained within a 25 X 150mm test tube. This was a frontal view of the growing fungal colony, which exhibited a cottony, white coloration. For a posterior view of this colony, see PHIL 12191.
