Caption:
This photograph depicted a QUAD Plate containing a casein growth media upon which Gram-positive, Nocardia, and Streptomyces bacterial colonies were grown. This particular image revealed results that had been contaminated by mold. See PHIL 11999, for another, uncontaminated, Quad study. These colonies were grown in an aerobic environment, which means these organisms thrive in the presence of oxygen.
