This photograph depicted a number of cattle on the banks of a body of water inside the country of Bangladesh, as well as a number of Bengali villagers taking a respite from the hot weather, as the cattle drank from the water’s edge. The image was captured sometime during the worldwide smallpox eradication campaign of the 1970s.
