Description:This 1957 plane film x-ray revealed an enlarged mediastinum, diffuse parenchymal involvement and consolidation within the right lower lobe or the right lung. The etiologic nature of this condition is unknown.
Plane film pulmonary radiography, or more commonly known as a chest x-ray, is one of the tools in the physician’s arsenal of diagnostic tests used in the determination of the cause, extent, and the means of treatment in many disease processes, which includes illnesses other than those that are not pulmonary in nature.
