Caption:
Two African American women working at OZALID machines to make positive copy prints using the ozalid process. In this process, patterns to be copied were put on translucent material, covered with diazo coated paper, exposed to ultraviolet light, and developed with ammonia fumes. The photo was probably made during a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health investigation in the 1970s of possible health hazards of this work.
