From the 1950s or 1960s, this historic image was provided by the Center for Disease Control's (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), depicted the interior of a coal mine. In this scene, there were a number of mining machines and vehicles visible, including a bucket crane in the process of filling a dump truck in the foreground, while in the background, there were two partnered machines, an excavator, and its power house, which looked as if it powered the excavator with a pneumatic pump.
