This transmission electron microscopic (TEM) image reveals both, contiguous tubuloreticular structures (TRS), and cylindrical confronting cisternae (CCC), which were situated inside a capillary endothelial cell, found within a lymph node biopsy specimen, harvested from a patient with lymphadenopathy, due to a human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HIV-1) infection.
