Reprinted from the February, 1951 issue of “Industrial Hygiene Newsletter”, the image depicted the Cincinnati, Ohio laboratory of the Industrial Hygiene Division (IHD) of the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS). In the photo, industrial hygiene equipment was measuring indoor air pollutants given off by various consumer products, and industrial machinery.
