ID#: 9272
Photographed in 1997, this image depicted a wheelchair seated man, as he was interacting with a wall mounted light switch. Crucial to the location of the switch, was the height at which it was mounted to the wall, which in order to be accessible to as many different users as possible, must be no more than 48-inches from the floor level. At this height, those seated in a wheelchair, as well as those standing, could easily use the switch without having to maintain an awkward body position.
