Description:This photograph showed from front to back, VP for Programs, CDC Foundation, Verla Neslund as she was presenting details of individual learning accounts to the CDC’s Excellence in Learning Council (ELC). Thacker.
The Excellence in Learning Council (ELC) provides guidance and operational direction to workforce and career development programs across CDC. Modeled after the Excellence in Science Committee, the Council ensures that strategic workforce activities, including educational training, are of the highest quality, and are aligned with agency-wide goals. The target audience includes not only CDC staff, but also the rest of the nation’s public health workforce.
