This historical marker in Key West, Florida, entitled, Convent of Mary Immaculate (1878), tells the story of the Covenant, built by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, and designed by William Kerr of Ireland. The Sisters worked as nurses during the Spanish-American War, and treated the wounded, and those ill with yellow fever.
