This image depicts a left lateral view of a child’s torso, revealing the presence of a maculopapular rash, which reflected a dermatomal distribution pattern. The child patient was said to have had a history of leukemia. The rash was diagnosed as a herpes-zoster outbreak due to the varicella-zoster virus (VZV) pathogen.
