This image depicts a close view of a male patient’s genitalia, revealing symptoms indicative of a case of genital dermatitis, which was specifically diagnosed as lichen sclerosus (LS) et atrophicus. Affected areas included the internal aspect of the prepuce, and the glans penis. LS is characterized as a chronic dermatitis, manifesting as flattened, white dermal plaques surrounded by an erythematous border, as well as black follicular plugs. Usually LS affects the genital region of the male and female, and can develop at extra-genital sites as well.
