This photomicrograph reveals some of the histopathologic changes found in a Kaposi’s sarcoma lesion tissue sample. This skin biopsy featured two characteristic findings found in such lesions, which includes remnants of extravasated erythrocytes (RBCs), and deposits of hemosiderin.
