This 28-year-old female presented with swollen gingivae, and was diagnosed with oral moniliasis, which was a secondary consequence to her acute monocytic leukemia, also known as Schilling’s leukemia. Her leukemic condition had weakened her immune system, which was further compromised, by the regimen of medications on which this patient was placed, in order to combat the leukemia.
