Description:This thick film Giemsa stained micrograph reveals a number of white blood cells (WBC) and platelet clusters.
Though these are normal findings, this slide makes it apparent how a diagnostician must be very well aware of these sometimes misleading elements, for such components can be mistaken for organisms such as Plasmodium spp. parasites.
