This 1975 image depicted a mop that was being rinsed in a sink under running water. The photograph was captured in order to highlight the placement of the water faucet above the water spill rim of this mop sink, and how it portrayed an example of proper sanitary practice. This image was used as part of a series, the purpose of which was to familiarize public health inspectors with what at the time, was proper food hygiene sanitation practices, and the myriad of food storage conditions found in migrant worker camps.
