Caption:
This photomicrograph of a human skin biopsy specimen, revealed the presence of histopathologic changes indicative of a case of Kaposi’s sarcoma (KS). Note the thinning of the skin layers, most appreciably the dermis, which is reduced in thickness, and flattened, due to the presence of a cellular, subdermal infiltrate.
