Caption:
This photograph depicts a close view of the plantar surface of a patient’s left foot, focusing on an area proximal to the second metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint, and highlighting the presence of a bluish-red Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) nodule. KS in people with acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or AIDS, usually spreads more quickly than other kinds of KS, and is often found in many parts of the body.
