This photomicrograph of an unidentified tissue sample reveals the presence of Donovan bodies, or cellular inclusions, confirming the diagnosis of a case of Donovanosis, also known as granuloma inguinale, caused by the bacterium, Klebsiella granulomatis, formerly Calymmatobacterium granulomatis.
