This Peruvian street vendor was selling a corn-based drink he made at home using a single glass that he fills with a dipper. Food and beverages prepared at home, where initial contamination is likely, and then taken to a street corner, or market where it is then sold over many hours, can allow time for incubation, and growth of pathogenic organisms.
