This was the cover of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) publication, Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID), Volume 8, Number 4, April 2002 issue. The cover artwork entitled, “México Prehispánico, El Antiguo Mundo Indígena (Indigenous World)”, was created in 1929, by Diego Rivera, and was printed with the permission of the Banco de México Diego Rivera, and the Frida Kahlo Museums Trust.
