This photomicrograph reveals ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism, Acremonium falciforme, formerly known as Cephalosporium falciforme, including septate conidiophores, topped by clusters of, smooth-walled, oblong conidia. A. falciforme is known to be a cause of eumycotic white grain mycetoma in humans.
