This is an enlargement of a Phthirus pubis, or more commonly known as the pubic, or crab louse. Normally, P. pubis is transmitted from person to person through direct sexual contact, and thereafter, infest the widely spaced pubic hair region in adults, and the eye lashes in affected children.
