This photomicrograph reveals some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism, Fusarium verticillioides, including the hypha on the far left, the perpendicularly branched conidiophore directed towards the center, which was topped by a chain of conidia. Note the two additional, free floating conidial chains towards the right.
