This is a photograph of a late culture of the fungus, Chrysosporium histoplasmoides. Colonies of the genus Chrysosporium are fast growing, and flat. The color is usually whitish, pale yellow to pale brown on the surface with a powdery or granular texture, and pale or brown on reverse.
