Under a magnification of 600X, and using the hematoxylin-eosin (H&E) staining method, this photomicrograph revealed the histopathologic changes found in a tissue section from a patient with a case of eumycotic mycetoma, which was due to the organism, Pseudallescheria boydii, formerly known as Allescheria boydii, an ascomycetous mold.
