Captured in 1975, this image was part of a slideshow that was used to familiarize public health inspectors with the unsanitary conditions commonly found inside migrant worker camps. This particular photograph depicted what had been a restroom facility, which designated that the men’s quarters were to the left, while those for the women were to the right. Inspectors should be aware of the positioning of the sewage source in relation to the area’s drainage patterns, as well as be concerned with the cleanliness of the facility, and its general location in the camp area.
