Captured in 1975, this image was part of a slideshow that was used to familiarize public health inspectors with the unsanitary conditions commonly found inside migrant worker camps. This particular photograph highlighted one of this camp’s showers, revealing the dirty conditions of this facility. Inspectors need to be aware of wastewater disposal, from sources other than sewage, including kitchens, showers, laundries, etc. Plumbing and other associated appliances, must be in sound working order, and cleaned regularly.
