This is a skin lesion exhibited by a patient with a case of gonorrhea, and the systemic dissemination of the responsible pathogen, Neisseria gonorrhoeae bacteria. Gonorrhea, if left untreated, can enter the blood, thereby, spreading throughout the body. As is shown here, such fully systemic dissemination may manifest itself as randomly located skin lesions.
