This photograph depicts a close view of a patient’s penis, which exhibited soft, wart-like growths about the penile shaft, known as condylomata acuminata, or anogenital warts. The image was captured 12hrs post-podophyllin application. This is the same patient as seen in PHIL 16280 and 16282. Condylomata acuminata is caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). The most commonly affected areas are the penis, vulva, vagina, cervix, perineum, and perianal area.
