This photograph shows you the clinical appearance of a patient’s eyes in a case of trichinosis. The patient presented with periorbital swelling, muscle pain, diarrhea, and eosinophilia, or an increase in the number of eosinophils in the blood, in this case, a white blood cell count with 28% eosinophils.
