Photographed in 1969, after developing vaccinial lesions on his leg, this patient was treated using Sulfamylon® cream, a treatment more popularly used to prevent the spread of bacterial infection in burn patients. You can see here, how it was liberally applied to this patient’s leg atop the vaccinial lesions.
