This 1969 image depicts what were typical vaccinia pustules on the right eyelids of a 4-year-old child, 13-days after having received a primary smallpox vaccination. See PHIL 3336, for a look at this patient's right eye 4-days after having begun antiviral treatment with vaccinia immune globulin (VIG) .
