Captured in 1969, this image depicts the torso of this 11 mo. old patient, who’d developed epidermal necrolysis, 5 days after receiving a primary smallpox vaccination. See PHIL 3288 for a posterior view of this baby’s lower extremities, and more to the extent of this reaction.
