This image depicts a frontal view of a Petri dish culture plate containing a single, large, Mycobacterium marinum, formerly known as M. balnei, bacterial colony that displayed what is referred to as a rough, granular texture, and a golden-orange central coloration, which was rimmed with a brownish-green periphery. Note the red pigment deposition as well.
