Caption:
This image depicts a view of two Petri dish culture plates that contained an unidentified growth medium. The plate on the left had been inoculated with Gram-negative, Enterobacter sakazakii bacteria, and the right plate was inoculated with E. cloacae bacteria, then photographed after a deoxyribonuclease (DNase) reaction. From top to bottom, the results can be seen in the differing growth patterns, after having undergone a 3-day, 2-day, and 1-day incubation period respectively, at 36°C.
