Caption:
This photograph depicts a Petri dish culture plate that contained an unidentified growth medium, which had been inoculated with Gram-negative, Enterobacter sakazakii bacteria, and allowed to incubate for an undisclosed time period, at an undisclosed temperature. Various antimicrobial imbibed disks had been set atop the medium surface in order to conduct what is known as an antibiogram study, which would determine those antimicrobials to which the E. sakazakii is sensitive. The halos around the disks indicate the sensitivity level.
