This historic image from 1965, depicted laboratory technician, Jennifer Walker, while she was demonstrating the trichrome histochemical staining technique, considered a rapid and simple staining procedure, which provides consistently good results. At the time of this image’s creation, this technique was taught to laboratorians throughout the country by way of courses offered through the former Communicable Disease Centers (CDC).
