This historic image from 1966, was captured in the country of Togo, during a Communicable Disease Center (CDC) measles vaccination study. The photograph depicts a public health field technician administering a measles vaccination to a very young child’s left upper arm using a Jet Injector®, as the baby was being carried in a sling that was wrapped around his mother’s torso.
