This photograph depicts Rozalyn Donner, a veterinary student, who was participating in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Epidemiology Elective Program (EEP), while contributing to a collaborative effort to address Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (RMSF) prevalence on a tribal reservation in Arizona, by distributing tick collars to dogs. CDC’s EEP introduces medical and veterinary students to applied epidemiology, public health, and global health through hands-on experience and mentorship, by CDC subject matter experts.
