This photomicrograph depicts a fluorescent antibody-stained chick chorioallantoic membrane, after it had been inoculated with smallpox virus, and subsequently stained with rabbit anti-vaccinia conjugate, thereby, enabled you to see the positive result, as evidenced by the green glow, due to the presence of the poxvirus.
