The 2018 Ebola Outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), is now the second largest Ebola outbreak in history. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) deployers have supported DRC’s Ministry of Health (MoH) and Sanitation in surveillance, border health, health communications/community engagement, infection prevention and control, and vaccination activities. Specifically, they have supported the MoHS in improving screening at key points, including the N’Djili International Airport in Kinshasa, seen here, in this photograph.
