This photograph depicted a student intern at the Chicago Quarantine Station. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection, located at the Chicago International Mail Unit, had notified the Chicago Quarantine Station that they put aside a package, which contained some human bones. Since the contents fell under the criteria of CDC-Regulated items, a Quarantine Public Health Officer, and intern student, went to examine the items. After examination it was determined that they were non-infectious, and allowed them to enter the country.
